Incredible Mallakhamb - Anup Thakur
Anup V Thakur has trained in the Indian ancient Sport, Mallakhamb, since the age of
ten and has mastered other aerial & acrobatic mediums like silks,ring,rope, pole mallakhamb.
He has got prestigious “Shiv Chattrapati Award” from the Maharashtra Government
as an honor for the Best Athlete of the year award 2012-13, Which is given on 3 Dec 2015.
The youngest athlete to receive this prestige in Maharashtra.
He Has as also got the opportunity to work in the International Song Video
of “You only love me - Mallakhamb ” as Mallakhamb artist in Sweden with the famous artist
“John De Shon”
He has also performed in Indian reality shows famous worldwide such as” Georgi’sGot Talent”, “India’s Got Talent”, “Entertainment ke liye kuch bhi karega”,
“Hindustan ka Hunar”.
Anup made his choreographic debut in Bollywood in 2015, on Dance India Dance , as
both a collaborating choreographer and performer. Since then, he has
choreographed for many TV shows such as , DID Little Masters, Hindusan ka Hunar
, Jhalak Dikhla Ja.
